The Sensational Issue

Honestly, I have just discovered the super inspiring and amazing shoots of LOVE magazine! I have no words. This cover is the Spring/Summer 2011 cover of LOVE. Kate Moss is kissing the transexual model Lea T. I mean I don't have to explain the braveness of this magazine laying on the roofs of the Book Stores or whatever. Looking at this cover, I think it expresses how people should not care about anything. 21st century is the period where everyone is free to do what they want. If it was something wrong then one of the world's famous models wouldn't do this for the world's one of the most successful magazines. I don't know I think this cover has a huge message for everyone.

Mood Movement.

This is one of my favourite LOVE Magazine photoshoots of 2009. I guess I just like the movement. Felt like sharing this with you.

Passion from each perspective

The Kate photoshoot from LOVE Magazine. Black and White. Dirty. Smoke. Kate has reached the level where there is no make-up or clothing or lighting is needed. Her face is enough to create the look full of passion from each perspective!

An International It-girl/ It-mom

Miroslava Duma is the word guys. This young woman is a daughter of a Russian senator. She is the first fashionable lady that I have recognized from Russia (don't get me wrong pls) but she is absolutely an international inspiration. At the very young age Miroslava was able to become an editor for Harper's Bazaar Russia and later on she became a freelance writer for publications such OK magazine etc.

She definitely has some style! Among all the other icons I'd say she likes styling- wearing a lot of things at a time. She likes designers of Miu Miu, Prada and YSL.

She was also probably the most stylish pregnant lady in 2010.

"You know that I'm no good..."

July 23rd Amy Winehouse found dead in her London house. I'd say that I wasn't such a fan of hers whereas I always recognized her talent in Jazz/Soul music. However, it was also shocking for me because she was a huge inspiration for fashion world and especially Karl Lagerfeld as he called her his "muse".

July 26th hundreds of people went to Amy's funeral.
Here's Vanessa Friedman's words for Financial Times:

"Today is Amy Winehouse’s funeral, and I hope, but am not convinced, the fashion world will acknowledge what it has lost.
She did, after all, provide the soundtrack to a season: just after her award-winning album “Back to Black” was released, when Rehab was the most popular track at fashion shows. I remember sitting in a Comme des Garcons collection listening to it; ditto Dior. If one song could work for both those brands, which stand for pretty diametrically opposed value systems (clothes as concept vs clothes as couture; clothes as challenge vs clothes as perfect costume), you knew it was something special."

RIP Amy.
